Electric tiger lily is a bright neon orange semi-permanent hair dye that glows brightly under black lights, making it the perfect hair colour choice for next night out.
Choosing the Right Amount:
- Short Hair up to Bob Length: Whether you have thin or thick hair, one jar/bottle is all you need.
- Below the Shoulder up to Waist Length: If you have thin hair, two jars/bottles are recommended, while those with thicker hair may require 2-3 jars/bottles.
- Tailbone or Longer: For hair that extends to tailbone length or beyond, consider using three or more jars, adjusting according to hair thickness.
Application Instructions:
- Before colouring, it is crucial to pre-lighten (bleach) your hair to achieve a pale blonde base. Remember that results can vary based on your hair's texture and natural colour.
- This product should not be used on eyebrows or eyelashes. If eye contact occurs, rinse immediately with warm water and seek medical attention.
- To achieve a vibrant colour tone, we recommend pre-lightening (bleaching) your hair to a level 9 or higher level. Darker or warmer shades are best suited for hair that can only be lifted to a darker blonde shade. Achieving an even level 10 platinum blonde is essential for pastel shades (like our Creamtones®) or any shades that you've "pastel-ized" using our Pastel-izer®), as well as for all shades of grey (including Alien Grey, Amethyst Ashes, and Blue Steel).
- Start by washing your hair with a deep cleansing/clarifying shampoo. Avoid using conditioner.
- Thoroughly dry your hair with a blow dryer to ensure maximum porosity and to remove excess moisture.
- Apply Manic Panic Hair Colour evenly throughout your hair, ensuring thorough saturation. It may develop a slight frothy texture.
- Cover your hair with a plastic cap and use a hair dryer to apply heat for part of the processing time. This step helps open the hair cuticle, allowing for better penetration of the Manic Panic hair colour.
- Allow the dye to sit for 30-45 minutes.
- Towel and/or blow dry your hair, then style as usual.
Maintenance Tips:
- To extend the life of your vibrant colour, follow these tips:
- Wash your hair with a sulphate-free, colour-safe shampoo and conditioner using cool water.
- Remember that the more frequently you wash your hair, the faster the colour may naturally fade.

- Apply Manic Panic Hair Color.
- Comb through the hair color to make sure it is evenly applied and thoroughly saturated in your hair. It may become slightly frothy.
- Cover hair with a plastic cap.
- Use a hair dryer to apply heat to your hair for part of the processing time.
This will help to open up the cuticle and allow the Manic Panic hair color to better penetrate the hair strand. - Leave on for 30-45 minutes.
- Towel and/or blow dry hair. Style as usual.
Maintain color by washing with a sulfate-free color safe shampoo & conditioner, using cool water. The more often you wash, the faster the color will fade out.
